On how critical is digital marketing for a company like theirs..

When I talk from a digital marketing stand point the consumer is very well informed and he/she has got a 360 degree perspective from every dynamic. So digital marketing helps us to tap the consumer as it is not only the offline media that is present but the online media as well. Within digital marketing there are three to four different platforms, one is our corporate website itself wherein we showcase our entire product portfolio and another thing is social media and its growth facilitates a two-way communication with the consumer today. Within social media I would say Facebook takes the lead for us as of today we have around 4 million fans, this forum helps us converse with our consumers and this space facilitates service requests and complaints and this enables us to act fast. Now those times have gone wherein we used to think work would be done only after 8 hours although today it can be processed within two hours or lesser. Another important platform for us would be Twitter; this helps us target our audience as a lot of professionals are on Twitter. We have also built upon a YouTube channel where we publish whatsoever communication has been done; here the consumer absorbs the data as videos play a very important role.
