On the role of social media.
Social media is an important but often misused buzzword. These days it is key to take careful steps when you are interacting on a larger, open and non-censored communication marketplace. Hence we are very measured in our approach when we deal with social media. For example, we have developed a crowd-sourcing space on Facebook which is called ‘the spark of imagination’; this space allows like-minded individuals who are interested in sustainability and creative design aggregate together. When it comes to twitter we currently do not have a handle, although we have a strong use of listening tools like Radian 6 wherein we engage with consumers and potential customers who are in conversation about the Godrej Properties as a brand. So largely our play in social media is on Facebook and of course on LinkedIn as well.
