Nakul Podcast

User experience design is the topic for this edition of Business by Design.  This is the podcast about how design can change the way we experience business. We’ve got like the most magical guest on our show today – Nakul Shenoy is a multi-faceted personality: a communication scientist, a design consultant with multiple patents, a user researcher and a mentalist.
How can you read your customers better and design a user experience that is intuitive and magical.  Observation skills are important, and you have to be genuinely interested in the audience and what they are telling you.  In this rollicking discussion we talk about Urban Clap, Clear, magic, the Bangalore weather and alternate career paths
Here is an earlier interview with Nakul on trends in UX and what new entrants into the field of design should consider.

Mind reader Nakul Shenoy interacted with the audience, and talked about the power of persuasion.

User experience design is all about making sure that your customers have the best possible experience when using your product or service. It’s about creating something that is easy to use and enjoyable, while also providing the functionality that your customers need.
Good UX design can make a big difference to your bottom line. Happy customers are more likely to stay with your product or service and to recommend it to others. They’re also more likely to spend more money with you over time.
It’s important for marketers to understand user experience design and to be involved in the process from the beginning. By actively listening to customers and working with the designers, you can ensure that the final product meets the markets stated and unstated needs.
