Last Spring on International Women’s Day, Levi’s® dedicated the month of March to
celebrate unstoppable women who have shaped their world, on their own terms. A world in which they
stood by their choices, broke rules, refused to give up on their dreams, and survived battles which would
have broken most others. Levi’s  now launches #IShapeMyWorld Season 2.

Levi’s® journeyed the length and breadth of India to capture the stories of a few such remarkable
women and celebrated their achievements in the campaign that has now become a nationwide
movement called #IShapeMyWorld.

After a very successful first edition that touched millions of hearts, Levi’s® is back again this September
with the second season of #IShapeMyWorld to continue the movement, to inspire and empower
women worldwide with the stories of another set of extraordinary, fearless women who shattered glass
ceilings time and time again.

Now a dancing sensation in India, Shakti Mohan was once told she would never be able to walk again,
let alone dance. Persistent with stubborn dedication, Shakti had other plans. Not only did she dance, she
won Zee TV’s dance reality show Dance India Dance and hasn’t looked back since. The talent behind
several hit Bollywood dance numbers, she recently collaborated for a BBC-sponsored dance project in
New York and travelled the world to conduct workshops.

VJ turned actor Bani J, who quickly became a household name with her stint on reality TV show Roadies,
never imagined that the entire nation would disapprove of her body transformation, when she took to
her passion of keeping fit a few years ago. ‘Overtly muscular’ and ‘masculine’ are remarks that would
constantly come her way. Without paying heed, she continues to challenge societal perceptions by
reminding people that beauty is subjective, while being unapologetic and fearless in her pursuit of doing
what she loves.

Model turned actor Ileana D’cruz had always stepped away from the limelight. Little to the world’s
knowledge, she has been battling body dysmorphic disorder, depression and anxiety over the last 15
years. Even today, she refuses to give in to her illnesses, determined to make her mark in an industry
that is known to be ruthless.

It is by touching upon the untold stories of these womens’ struggles and consequent victories, that
Levi’s® seeks to empower and energise a nation of powerful women, who are shaping their lives every
day, without knowing it themselves.
