Well, It will definitely be Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, her journey at a time when there were so few women venturing into businesses and starting her company Biocon’ , from a garage and creating an empire along with outstanding contributions to science, is remarkable.
Mantra for success is?
Have always followed my high school motto “ I CAN AND I WILL’ and that has remained my mantra till date.
Being your own boss is to you?
Is to be able to make my own choices and take my own decisions and learn from the outcome, to be able to make a future plan and experiencing the plan unfolding.
Your DWEN experience and how would you sum it?
Have attended 3 DWEN conferences Delhi, Istanbul and Berlin and must say, apart from the Dell hospitality, I was truly overwhelmed with the vibrancy in the atmosphere and amazing interactions with so many dynamic women from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. All The panel discussions and breakout sessions have been extremely empowering.
