Nitin Shakdher is now a professional investor as the Founder & CEO at Green Capital with the core focus on asset management advice, knowledge investing, mentorship, angel investing, seed capital and venture funding.
He is a known entrepreneur & investor, and has a marketing, business, brand strategy & financial markets investments experience since 1998. In his diverse experience of 15 years, he has worked across various industries. His experience has encompassed business p&l, consumer marketing & sales, corporate marketing & branding, brand management & strategy, entrepreneurship and growth strategies.
In his last role, Nitin Shakdher was the Vice President (Marketing) at Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Ltd. India’s first and only listed health & wellness company with more than 150 health clubs across more than 75 cities. In his 4 years stint with TBVF, Nitin Shakdher was instrumental in growing the brand and the company from an early stage to its successful IPO in 2010 at the NSE & BSE. He was involved with all aspects before and after the IPO in the growth, expansion stage of the company through marketing, brand strategy, business p&l, new product development. He has since exited the company and his investment in 2014.
Nitin Shakdher is a thought leader, active panelist, speaker on numerous forums, events, industry meets and contributor to editorial syndicates for his views on investments, trends, entrepreneurship, motivation, start up accelerators, angel investing and networking for early stage entrepreneurs and ideas.
He is an alumnus of St’ Columbas School, Venkateshwara College – Delhi University (B com Hons), Xavier Institute of Communications (PGDM), Mumbai and Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi (MBA, Marketing). His core expertise is in venture capital, angel investing, seed capital funding, financial markets investing, asset allocation strategies and partnering with passionate entrepreneurs.
