Recently at TATA AIA life, we have introduced a suite of award winning mobile applications which is available for free on the android or the IOS platform, this allows the potential customer or even our advisors to use the application and really calculate the life insurance need of the customer and also allows you to take up certain suggested solutions to meet those needs.
One other thing that we’ve done in the digital realm is that we’ve set up a tablet based e-sales solutions, this can work on an online or an offline mode and this allows the advisor to present the product suite to potential customers, run the customers though various simulations regarding the various premium paying options that the customer may want to exercise. It also allows the advisor to close the sale process in terms of collecting all the documents, taking the e-signature by submitting the details in the que. In addition to this, in the coming financial year we are planning to be very active in the digital and the social media space that will be the progression of these initiatives as we go on.
