Profile: Priya is the founder of the brand Strombss (pronounced as ‘stroms’ with the ‘b’ silent) that offers natural, nutritious foods in convenient forms. Her company has invested in building capabilities to deliver high quality traditional food concepts in modern easy-to-consume formats that are appealing to the fast-paced discerning global consumer. The company has a 10,000 sqft. manufacturing unit at Murbad, just 70kms from Mumbai and a state-of-the-art facility in Navi-Mumbai.
With a degree in commerce and a Masters in business administration, Priya worked with Citibank, Federal Express, The Times of India, AxisBank and Servcorp in various management roles over 15 years. She spent the next 5 years in intense research, product development, market testing and setting up of manufacturing capabilities for her dream project: Strombss. . Her company, Vihaan Naturals manufactures Strombss healthshakes, instant smoothie mixes and sprouted grain flours.
