Paul Writer, India’s biggest community of marketers, recognized the best Bangalore brands at the Bangalore Brand Summit, presented by OneIndia at the Ritz Carlton, Bangalore on June 24, 2015. This is an annual program launched in 2014.
The Bangalore Brand Summit brings together Bangalore’s top brand owners and senior executives to discuss trends, debate ideas, and share knowledge. The event concluded with a awards recognizing the hottest brands.
Commenting on the concept of The Bangalore Brand Summit, Jessie Paul, CEO, Paul Writer, said, “India is a vibrant economy with thriving local and national brands. This Summit is our attempt to recognise the best brands with their headquarters in Bangalore. We have similar programs in Mumbai and NCR later this year.”
Award winners were selected by a mix of popular voting and an elite jury led by Madhavan Narayanan, Media Thinker, Hindustan Times as the Chair of the Jury. The jury panel comprised: Madhukar Kamath, Group CEO and MD-DDB Mudra Group, Jaideep Gokhale, Director-Marketing Communications, South Asia, East Asia & Oceania-Tetra Pak, Ashish Bhasin, Chairman & CEO South Asia Dentsu Aegis Network, Chairman Posterscope and psLive Asia Pacific, Lloyd Mathias, Marketing Head – India, Printing & Personal Systems, Hewlett-Packard and Ranjivit Singh, Senior Vice President – Corporate Marketing, CMO, Samsung India Electronics. The axes on which brands were evaluated were Growth, Mindshare, Uniqueness, and Innovation.
The trophies were presented to the winners during a gala ceremony at the Ritz Carlton in Bangalore. More than 100 dignitaries from leading Bangalore brands attended the event.
