Travel.Earth and Sabah Tourism Board announce the first Indian digital travel influencers’ convention in Sabah, Malaysia
The convention will provide immense networking opportunities and will host and award leading digital influencers in the travel industry
Bangalore, May 22:Travel.Earth, an Indian travel media company, officially signed a joint marketing campaign with Sabah Tourism Board to host and award leading digital travel influencers from India. The convention which will take place from June 27 – 28, 2019 at Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort and Spa in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah will hostbetween 50-100 Indian participants, panelists and eminent speakers in the industry.
The convention will be co-hosted by Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB), Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), Malindo Air and Malaysia Airlines.
“We are delighted to host as well as award leading digital influencers from this industry because they work tirelessly to inspire people to travel, and we believe travel enriches people’s lives and expands their outlook. We are equally delighted to partner with Sabah for this event for two reasons, firstly because of the destination itself. We believe everybody will savour the picturesque location and its rich cultural heritage. But more importantly, it’s because the tourism board here is aware of the digital revolution and have a keen foresight in leveraging it through this event,” said Arun Raghu, Co-founder, Travel.Earth, during the event unveiling.

The Convention aims to provide a platform where travel industry participants can network and connect with leading influencers. It will bring together travel content creators, industry stalwarts, and renowned speakers and create an event rich in content, networking and enjoyment.
The 2-day event will end with an awards night. This awards ceremony will be the first of its kind in the industry and will be positioned as the leading honours in the travel digital influencer community based on objective criteria and performance-driven metrics.
