Brand Summit Jury: Amit Somani
- What according to you makes a brand `hot’?
A brand is ‘hot’ when a customer makes an unsolicited recommendation of the product, service or experience.
- A `hot’ brand within few hours can become `not so hot’. What are your tips for brand owners to help them keep their brand hot?
The ‘brand’ has to be serving a genuine need in a repeatable and delightful manner. Gimmicks or even just sheer luck may give your brand its moment under the sun but it won’t last. So, first and foremost, have a genuine 10X customer experience. Secondly, make it easy for people to talk about it and share it.
- Technological boom is the talk of the town. More and more brands are investing in automation tools, AI and content marketing to name a few. How do you think technology can keep a brand hot?
The channels of communication have grown exponentially. Anything that can be discovered will be discovered. There’s no place to ‘hide’ or ‘manage’ content. You can only deliver a ‘wow’ experience and then invest in technology and tools to facilitate a great, open conversation about your product or service.
