Here’s a quick chat with Namita Agrawal of Sunshine Boulevard and a member of DWEN India
A female entrepreneur you admire and why?
There are a lot of women entrepreneurs that I admire. Especially the ones who have overcome odds and hardships in their lives and have gone out and established themselves as successful & powerful women entrepreneurs. Women like Oprah Winfrey and Shahnaz Husain have had difficult early lives but with their grit and passion, has led them to achieve greater heights in what ever they pursued.
I was born in a small town where girls are expected to get married early and look after their homes. Fortunately, my parents especially my dad thought differently and encouraged us (my 2 sisters and me), to always dream big and be strong independent women.
Mantra for success is?
Fall in love with what you do & take pride in it.
Don’t lose focus even if you go through a few failures in business. Be patient and keep a calm head in times of a crisis. There’s nothing that can’t be sorted or solved.
Be physically fit to maintain a healthy work life balance.
Being your own boss is to you?
Exhilarating where I am responsible for my own actions. Also allows me to prioritize my personal and professional time according to the need of the hour.
