Just back from an amazing session at TiE Coimbatore. Living in Bangalore I guess I've not really noticed the transformation of smaller cities like Coimbatore. But they have a swish airport, 4 swanky hotels, malls and yet just a 10 minute commute to any place! Even better was the chance to interact with entrepreneurs driving businesses in engineering, manufacturing and education, including innovations like an electric scooter.
This week we have an interview with David Alston CMO of Radian6, a pioneer in social media listening tools. For those who are just dipping their toes in the murky waters of social media his words of advice are reassuring - it is ok to just listen initially, you'll jump in and engage when you're ready.
